Dr. Sharma has authored various scientific articles, patents, book chapters, books and conference papers with more than 1400 citations. Dr. Sharma has developed commercially successful technologies and products in the agrobiotechnology and phytomedicine sector. He is a fellow of the prestigious Mexican National System of Researchers since 2014 now as Level 2. He is
the founder-director and promoter of the new Bioengineering Research Center, at Queretaro campus, where he has established a state-of-art National OMICS Tecnologies laboratory and consolidated a highly consolidated and productive research group.
He serves as an invited reviewer for more than 30 internationally reputed journals. Dr.Sharma has participated in dozens of communication forums, including newspapers, radio and television (Mexico and India) on diverse scientific topics.
He has more than 30 research papers presented in countries like the USA, Holland, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, China, Chile, Spain, and India. He has also directed more than 15 masters and doctoral thesis. He has been a speaker and keynote speaker in >60 national and international conferences.

He is the co-founder and scientific leader of WeClone, a biotech company where he has developed world ́s first Mobile lab (Lab-onWheel) of Micropropagation Technology and cloned the Tree of future (Paulownia Shantong). He is Associate Editor for Frontiers in Pharmacology (Q1, IF:6.0) and Review Editor for Frontiers en Microbiology (Q1, IF: 5.5). He also works with local farmers, companies, and governmental sections to identify and solve agro-industrial problems of the region.
